Assignment #1

English and I have had a love/hate relationship ever since I can remember and I am taking this course not just for the AP credit but also for the challenge and experience it offers. Without the challenge my writing/reading/comprehension skills will not improve. I must put in the energy to get better in said areas and only then will I be on track to achieving the goals I and this course will set. I am excited to be able to use technology in the classroom because it will be practical for the real world unlike the outdated methods that school has restricted us to. I am also nervous about the pressure that may be placed upon me during the course but this is the same pressure that will strengthen my abilities. Since I have taken English with Dr. Preston before, I know how one's mental horizon can broaden in just one class period and I expect the same effect through this course. I am also looking forward to learning how to work this pretty complicated blog.
